Why I was drawn to Simons quote.

I was immediately drawn to Simons quote, due to the references of day and night and how a shadow seems to follow a body. One of the things that made me pick the project by Erica Simone and Jaci Berkope, was how they used nature to follow the natural contours of the human form. I had an idea of using nature not only to follow the form but interact with it. I wanted a project that could show the beauty of the human form and nature, encapsulated in one image. I also wanted the images to have a strong contextual reference and to show a message, the message I wanted to show wasn’t yet resolved.
