Perspective Distortion

As my project is working with a linear perspective changes are caused by distance, not by the lens . The angle of which I decider to expose my photogram will change the dynamic of scale of my objects. If I am using a direct light from above I allow for little to no distortion, but if I place the light at an angle ( as I did with the previous images, to create a larger imprint of the flora I allow for distortion similar to the working of a wide-angle lenses by creating a wider field of view. If we look at the technique called gaussian optics, we are exploring the behaviour of light rays when used in the format of image making it shows that trigonometric functions can be expressed as linear functions of the angles. When used in my practice, I should think of how the light will behave before I set my composure, allowing little to no distortion.
