Development of colour

In this image I have used the same paper as my previous image but I have brushed the paper with water to show the flowers colour more clearly. I am pleased with the effect of the introduction of a more vivid colour, this introduction of colour reminds me of work by Jerry Uelsmann, but as with his work I feel the contrast of subjects is something that is working against each other rather than working in harmony. The amount of flower showing in this image is far too much, In need to keep the colour and presence of the flower paper but not as much as this.
