Paper experimentation

In this image I have used a paper with the correlating flower laced within. The image is very clear and the clarity is something I need to reproduce within any paper I finally choose to use. I am intrigued by the way the flowers have added new line and form to the image, but I feel they could be too harsh when seen in conjunction with the rest of the image as I am trying to reproduce a memory or a "dream like vision". The use of colour in this image isn't as apparent as I would like either, the colour is dull and works more like a shadow and a distraction from the flower( photogram). In the next image I think I need to think more about the way the paper can add or distract from my images overall res
